Magical Page Productions is not only writing a novel we are creating a character with a setting as varied as we could imagine. We grew up reading comic books and loved the fact that the stories never really ended. For this reason, we developed a character and setting with an infinite amount of reuseability so the adventures don't need to end. However, what we didn't like about comic books was the re-hashing of the same old thing. We hope to make our stories very different.

The main character's name is Vorpril *Oshkahn, and we will release the bits and pieces of his past slowly. Suffice to say now that he is an immortal who has sworn an oath to fight evil wherever he finds it. One of the twists is Vorpril does not find trouble by accident, like most heroes do. He searches the material plane for the next major conflict that seriously needs his help.

He also has a large back story which will come out to some extent in all his novels. We will say that he was once part of The High Council which was ultimately responsible for his "creation". Vorpril was not always immortal, and his past is something that he only brings up very rarely. His powers and abilities will also be described in some detail here and in his first book.

One of the ideas behind these novels that excites us the most is character development. We want to create some familiarity with the consistent character of Vorpril, but we really want you to identify with the other major characters in the books. I even plan on follow-up stories after Vorpril has left a planet and have one already in mind for the first setting we've come up with.

Excerpts from the book, illustrations, and short stories will be added to the site as they are created. We hope we can peak your interest in this exciting event and feedback will be welcomed.
